Hi, I'm hoping some of you can help me! I'll start by saying I've always been a very casual dresser - hoodies and hiking trousers sort of person. I work in forestry, walk the dog every day and garden when I have spare time.

I was quite happy with these outfits, but duct to since I had my son 6 months ago my body and needs have changed totally. I'm breastfeeding so need clothes suitable for that, and my chest is huge compared to what it was before. I still have quite a big stomach and my scar isn't healing well so I can't wear any of my old trousers.

I've ended up living in these unflattering high waisted cotton trousers, with a long baggy cardigan and I feel like I look a total mess all the time. Any suggestions of other clothes I can consider? Or nice (but practical) high waisted trousers and cardigans?

Thanks.

I should add that I live very rurally so can't go around shops to browse!

leggings And nursing dresses - if your scar isn’t healing 6 months after have you been to the doctor as it should be sorted now? Unless you have all that in hand!

nursing tops and paper bag waist jeans?

jeggings - M&S do good ones.

frugi is great for nursing items. Great tops and dresses.

h&m worth looking at maternity range for nursing and new look and Asos.

I found things with buttons were helpful so shirts or button dresses.
