Please I need your help : summer trousers when overweight

Morning ! I’m going to Rome in a couple of weeks with some friends. I wear jeans every day + a plain top. I’m size 16/18 - are there summer trousers I could wear instead of jeans that won’t make me look ridiculous or bigger ? I’m useless at things like that ! Thank you for your help 🙏

I would second the Hush trousers, also recommend linen or linen blend trousers, M&S do some great ones.

Airy Linen or linen mix cropped wide trousers from H&M. Matched with a linen v necked t shirt in similar colour to add an illusion of length. Topped with a floaty linen shirt or linen mix shirt again at h&m.
