Good evening,

I have my first interview in about 20 years having spent the last 12 as a self employed childminder and would love some help putting together an interview outfit so I can look like a functioning adult!

The interview is for a school admin with first aid responsibilities so needs to be smart, sensible and practical.

I usually live in jeans, t-shirts, hoodies and either converse or DMs. Its a very conservative school so needs to be very smart but doesn't need to be a suit.

I am 5' 6, size 16 with big boobs (34 hh) and a tummy.

I have a couple of midi dresses that could work (see below) Or I can buy something when shopping tomorrow. All suggestions welcome!

Love both of those and think either would be appropriate. Good luck with the interview!

You will look lovely in either but go for the green if you can because it’s more memorable. Good luck, it’s a brave thing to do to return to the world of interviews after 12 years!

Thank you both.

Honestly @TheProvincialLady i am so nervous! My last "interview" was a friend of my old old boss who basically wanted to meet to organise a start date! My next job I was asked to join the team. Then self employed. And working with kids I've forgotten how to dress like a functioning adult rather than a teenage boy 🤣

Both are very suitable and lovely!
Good thought from pp about wearing the green one.

You will smash it 😊
