How do I get energy?

I am in the process of losing weight and whilst I am trying to be sensible with nutrition, I have two busy jobs and teenagers and I don't always remember to eat sensibly. Whilst I am happy noticing the weight come off, my energy levels are dwindling. Are there any supplements I can take that will make a noticeable impact to my energy levels?

There's going to be a lot of disagreement with this, but for me, it's carbs. Not white processed stuff, but whole grain bread, rice, whole wheat pasta. I've lost 2 stone and all my belly fat at age 52, tiny waist, and I eat all the carbs!
I take B12 (because I'm vegan) and D3 and have bags of energy, never felt better.

I take Vitamin D and a berocca in the morning and take magnesium at night.

D and magnesium two key ones. Im on the trinity programme and the nutrition recommendations was these. I've noted a massive difference taking these as well as eating a lot better of course. I'm 50 and also going through the stomach spread battle which I'm winning thankfully.

Food wise when you need to grab something, things like the Bepps black eye pea snacks, snackajacks, Biltong.

A good quality B vitamin. Also make sure you have enough good fats in your diet, as the body needs to burn something.

This is what works for me:
Early nights
Loads of water
Vitamin B/ berocca
Less caffeine (do you drink it in the afternoon?)
Swap out high GI foods for lower and cut out processed food & carbs - limit to a bit of whole grain or occasional potatoes
Natural sugars from fruit, not sweets

Basically your energy comes from calories (kcal is literally a measurement of energy) so you need to make sure your calories are working hard for you, not making you sluggish
