I have ombré type highlights which have grown out so I have about 4 inches of darker roots. I quite like this look as the highlights were blended well and softly, and I think my natural dark brown suits my face better, but I like the highlighted ends. (My current hair crush is Emily from Made in Chelsea if you've seen it - sadly I don't have her face but I'm aiming for her hair!)
Anyway, as it's grown out there are a few strands of grey creeping in. I'd like to paint on a semi perm glossing type dye on the top 4 inches to darken up my roots and give it a shine, whilst blending greys a little. If I use Nice & Easy semi perm I would paint it down to blend into my blonde ends. Will the bits where if touches the blonde turn green? Or is Nice and Easy ok covering highlights?
