Sun damaged face

Purplehonesty2 · 19/05/2022 17:49

I have lots of sun damage on my face and it looks quite patchy and freckly. It happened in lockdown when I basically lived in the garden!

Any tips, treatments or wonder products to help it repair?

I have small brown patches, like age spots I guess but I'm 41 not 90 😂

My fault for not wearing SPF which I do now!

Thanks

Sun protection. High SPF and a decent sun hat with a reasonably wide brim. You can get sun hats that are SPF rated.

You need tretinoin or retinol and wear spf50 everyday

Vitamin c serum might help

High Spf every single day as a standalone. Altruist face fluid on Amazon is very reasonably priced.

Then you need Tret from Dermatica or Skin and Me to fade the damage. It's a slow one, marathon not a sprint.

Thanks for posting! I have been getting a lot of sun lately and not thinking about this 😬
