Jeans for a short, size 4-6 teenager?

Does anyone know where to get nice fitting jeans for a tiny 14 year old? She is about 5ft tall. We've tried H&M and Shein but they didn't fit well.
It was fine when she was happy with skinny jeans/jeggings but she would like more fashionable shapes.
Shes not keen on buying from kids ranges and sometimes the fit in children's sizes doesn't suit her either.
I'm finding tricky as although I'm also short I'm a 16.

Primark always seems to have 4&6 in stock , not sure if the length as I don't wear jeans

I’m size 6 and 5’3 do a little taller but I always get my jeans from primark. They have the leg length option too which helps. I replace my black ones quite often since the colour fades after a while but I’ve had several blue pairs for many years.

Next petite range is good. I’m 5 foot and a size 6 and I buy all my jeans from them- skinnies and nice bootcut ones too. I’m not sure what shapes are fashionable though!

ASOS petite or River island petite would have the shapes and styles she is looking for. Also Stradivarius petite jeans are a proper petite length. I've just discovered them. Very reasonably priced and you can get them on ASOS as well. I'm only 4"11 so I get it

uniqlo
the in-house seamstress can shorten legs if needed

Thanks for the replies.
I'll definitely look at Stradivarius. I'm not familiar with that brand.
We hadn't looked at Next. It's where I buy a lot of clothes so she thinks they won't have stuff for her age group.
We're limited to online shopping for the moment, no Primark local to us and they aren't online unfortunately.

I second ASOS. They have a (ridiculously) large amount of jeans and do loads of petite ranges and stock other petite brands.

They have catwalk style videos on most items and reviews so you can see what actual people make of them. They also state the model's height/size to give you an idea of how they might fit your DD.

Easy returns too so might be worth buying a stack of different styles and let her have a trying on session at home. Smile

Primark do her size

collieresponder88 · 19/05/2022 19:53

Just seen you don't have one !

Sqeebling · 20/05/2022 15:01

My DD 14 has a sewing machine and a mannequin so adjusts all her clothes to fit.

Topshop - with a range of leg lengths and styles too.

dameofdilemma · 23/05/2022 16:35

A lot of my jeans come from Mango or New Look as I find the hips, rear, waist and zip length fit better.
The length can always be taken up (most dry cleaners do it) but if the waist is too high or hips/rear too roomy, they still won't look right.

I used to swear by Uniqlo but (like a lot of brands) I find their sizing has got bigger and bigger over the years.

Gap Petite or Next Petite
