Does anyone tint their eyebrows at home? If so, what equipment do you use please?

I use refectocil tint plus the cream developer, from Amazon/eBay.
And a small soft brush - like a thin flat make up brush - it's actually a cheap paintbrush with the handle snapped short - from a stationery shop.

Hawaymanyoushite · 19/05/2022 07:59

I use eyelure eye brow tint, I’ve heard of people using mens beard dye too- not tried that myself.
vasaline on the outside of my brows, find it a really easy simple treatment.

leotardrock · 19/05/2022 08:00

I use Eylure Dybrow, about £8, don't need anything else it's all in the box.

TwinklingFairyLights · 19/05/2022 08:14

Thank you!

Another vote for eyelure. I don't bother with the Vaseline 🤷‍♀️

Innocenta · 19/05/2022 08:28

I use Mylee - been using it all through the pandemic and I'm super happy with it. My wife uses it too. Grin

Notarealmum · 19/05/2022 11:44

Yes, Eyelure for me too, I’ve used it for decades!

NorthernSoul55 · 19/05/2022 12:43

Using Schwarzkopf brow dye at the moment. Comes with all you need. However hairdye also works with an old mascara brush! Test first because it's going near your eyes

Neonskytonight · 19/05/2022 12:48

Refectocil is what they use in the salon's.

WingingItSince1973 · 19/05/2022 19:29

I have used quite a few different brands but it doesn't seem to last. I leave the dye on for longer. I also wash face everyday so maybe I'm washing it off.

CherryRipe1 · 19/05/2022 21:11

Refectocil. It's very good. I get mine from ebay.

Ferngreen · 19/05/2022 21:13

I use mMylee, a fine paint brush and a magnifying mirror - I have quite light hair and just leave it on a few minutes

MarmiteCoriander · 19/05/2022 21:22

Its certainly not advocated on the pack, but I use a casting colours on my head hair about every 4-6 weeks. With a cotton bud and left over creme, I put it on my eye brows. Yes, I realise I will likely get flamed, but its worked for me for over 10yrs.

GingeryLemons · 19/05/2022 21:26

Eylure from amazon. I don't wear makeup but having visible eyebrows is important. 😆

AnnaKorine · 19/05/2022 21:28

Refectocil is better than eyelure IME and Vaseline isn’t really necessary, it washes off on skin.

TwinklingFairyLights · 22/05/2022 17:15

Thanks all!

Eyelure also here. Also never use Vaseline

cushioncovers · 22/05/2022 17:26

I use Godefroy eyebrow tint kit. Have used it used it for a few years now. I get it from Amazon

purdypuma · 22/05/2022 18:07

I cover my greys every 3 weeks with a box dye. I use what's left over to dye my brows & apply it using an old mascara wand with a bit of vaseline above & below the brows. Then leave it on for 10 minutes. Works a treat & never had an adverse reaction.

Hatinafield · 22/05/2022 18:50

I also use a bit of hair dye with a cotton bud whilst covering my grey!

MurderAtTheBeautyPageant · 22/05/2022 18:55

A tube of Refectocil lasts for aaaaages and the bottle of developer looks like it will last until the next ice age. I splodge it on with a cotton bud, never bother with Vaseline, and wipe if off three mins later. If any skin stains it's gone within a day.

Bakedpotatoesfortea · 22/05/2022 18:57

I use salon system lash and brow tint for both my eyebrows and eyelashes
I buy it from the hair and beauty trade shop online

CherryRipe1 · 22/05/2022 21:33

I splodge refectocil on quite messily. Leave on far too long and end up like Groucho Marx but the dye on my skin washes off easily.
