Cream for Dark Spots

Looking for recommendations please for any creams that will lighten dark spots (hyperpigmentation) if there is such a thing?

I used one of the ordinary vitamin c creams (one with a higher vitamin c content) which have got rid of mine completely. But you need to go easy as quite a bit of “tingling” when I first started using it.
