Trouser help for my weird body please!

Please help me find trousers for my weird shape body! I'm tall and somehow manage to have both a long back and a really high, short waist! My measurements make me (just) hourglass but it is the placement of my waist that makes clothes never fit. I need something really really high rise.

I'm after either cropped or roll uppable trousers in a breathable fabric. Not too fitted on the leg, prefer relaxed, tapered or wide, but with a super high rise. The kind of high rise that has people with normal shapes complaining about how high it is. My work is hot, active, messy and with children so they need to be washable, not too delicate, and not see through.

My current best bet are my Lucy and yak Alexas. The high, thick, shirred waist works so well but the gathered bagginess below the waist slightly makes me look as if I'm wearing a nappy. Still love them & wear them though!

I have some tapered thick jersey trousers from Next which are ankle grazer length and which have a lovely high waist. These ones - they do come up big as well so size down

Well, I've got a very high waist personally and am tall, and the tall fit was perfect and sat really nicely

Marks & Spencer sports wear tends to be ultra high waisted. My waist is only an inch or so beneath my boobs and these easily reach my waist.

Agree re M&S leggings, they're fantastically high waisted. And their jeans aren't bad. Perhaps I need to research their other stuff. It just never looks very appealing on the website!
