Good, cheap Primer

I've just discovered primers (I know!) but don't want to pay a lot for one.

Any recommendations for a good, cheap one please?

I quite rate elf Putty Primer. Comes in slightly different varieties - Poreless, Luminous and Matte. You can get a set with three mini versions. I think they're all pretty good. Costs about £9, available in Superdrug and Boots.

I sometimes use a by Terry primer, but I think that must have been expensive.

Though I posted because I remember a few years ago many of us from S & B tried some generic product as primer. It was also reasonably priced. I'll look it up unless someone else, with better memory, comes up with it in the meantime.

Benefit Porefessional is OK. Dior Backstage is nice as it's a little thinner. Or if you wanted to go budget Nivea shave balm works just like a hydrating primer

W7 primer is around 3 quid and a dupe of Smashbox

I love L'Oréal infallible primer. £9.99 in Boots. Always buy it when it's 3 for 2.

It was Lanacane anti chafing gel. Also said to be a dupe for the Smashbox primer. Though it might not be the cheapest mentioned so far, at approx £6.00.
