What’s in your summer wardrobe (age 40 ish)?

I seem to have misplaced my summer clothes from last year (mainly shorts and tops) so my wardrobe looks a bit empty. I would like to buy a few items but unsure what to buy? Has anyone bought anything nice for their summer wardrobe? What do you mainly wear in the summer, not including work clothes? Especially looking for summer trousers and shorts, I’m not keen on dresses or skirts unless non fussy designs.

I wear jeans with t-shirts from seasalt and rapunai, merino jumper and white trainers. I'm 38.

I like the Rapunai t-shirts. I bought some chino type summer trousers from M&S that I like, I struggle with jeans as I can’t find a good fit, I have wide hips and a square bum but short skinny legs.

My staples are chino shorts, fat face trousers

And then some nice tshirts / cami vests

I wear high waist straight leg ankle length 100% cotton jeans, but I'm a different shape (10 top, 25/30 jeans).
