Vita liberata is the best gradual tanner I've used

Isle of paradise! I love all of there products and they come in 3 different shades.

Have a look around as it's usually on offer on boots, look fantastic, asos or their actual website

Garnier summer body is really good - it's more of a body lotion with tan in it. I just apply it after showering every night, you can also use it on your face and lots of people have complimented my natural-looking tan! It's pretty cheap too.

LolaJ87 · 17/05/2022 17:17

The Dove gradual one is my winner - summer glow I think it's called. I'm a pale redhead and it's the only tan I've ever seen look natural on me.

psuedocream3 · 17/05/2022 17:27

Im very pale, and I second vita liberata, nothing I have tried comes close. I actually bought isle of paradise last week as others said it was good for pale skin, but it's sadly not - another fake orangey looking tan, shall be going back to vita liberata.

I pale as well with lots of freckles, I love St Tropez self tan purity . It's the best one I have found and so easy to apply

Furrbabymama87 · 17/05/2022 17:40

I use the St Moriz dark. I've used the medium one before and that was very light and subtle. It goes on dark but most washes off when you shower the next morning and leaves you with a light tan.

Dove is great on pale skin and is really cheap

Which one is good?

Also a Day Walker who needs help!

TomAllenWife · 17/05/2022 18:06

St. Moritz one hour tan is fabulous
Very dark guide colour but lovely when it's showered off
Doesn't smell either

Phyllis321 · 17/05/2022 18:09

Palmers Coco Butter body lotion with tan is very good. I am also very Pele.

Phyllis321 · 17/05/2022 18:10

Pale. I'm no footballer.

JosieB68 · 17/05/2022 18:16

I’m super pale and red hair. I use st tropez express mouse, apply with their mitt also.
leave on for 1 hour for a light tan, only use a pea size amount on your hands and make sure you rinse them properly in the shower afterwards as I’ve put too much on my hands before and they’ve got a bit orange. Leaves a nice natural glow and fades quite evenly. Is a bit expensive but currently £22 in boots instead of £33 x

Not gradual tan, but ive discovered lacura body makeup from aldi and i really like it for my legs. Natural glowy colour, flattering and you can see if youve missed a bit so no patches. I recommend

jeaux90 · 18/05/2022 07:05

@Phyllis321  brilliant Grin
@MrsTerryPratchett I think Vita Liberata only does one gradual tanner

They also do a tanning oil which I really like as I have dry skin.

Jellycatspyjamas · 18/05/2022 07:14

I too like Garnier summer body - I use it in dark though so it goes on like a body lotion but gives a slightly darker tan colour rather than building up the light one.

Lizziekisss · 18/05/2022 07:17

Vita Liberata Body Blur is great when you want to put a little colour on pale limbs (legs!!). It’s not a gradual build up tanner though. You use a mitt to apply and it’ll wash of with soap. Love it.
