Summer Styling for Shorties

I’m 5’ and a 10/12 leaning towards 12. Hour glass figure, busty.
I feel a bit lost post covid, I don’t really know what suits me and I don’t know where to look. My daytime uniform is jeans and a Joules top. I generally wear short styles and prefer bracelet length sleeves.
I’ve no idea where to start, which shops to look in for pretty stuff, especially summer dresses.

Watching with interest! So many styles just don’t work on me and I find Next petite too short, regular is too long. H&M all
out of proportion ditto supermarket clothes.

Recently I’ve had some luck with Hush (got some lovely denim shorts that I’m not brave enough to wear and a great cropped jumpsuit) and Uniqlo seems to fit well too for basics like plain T shirts.

im after summer dresses but don’t know where to start as the midi dresses everywhere just swamp me and I look like a bag lady!

If your budget runs to Boden tbsp have a good petite range and I have several maxi and midi skirts/dresses from them. They are always on eBay too.
