Shoes and bag with this dress, please help!

Hi

Have a wedding at end of month.

Took me ages to find a dress that suits as I'm kinda petite so prefer classic cut styles.

This is dress. I'd been hoping to go for fuchsia/cerise pink bag and shoes but had no luck finding any after scouring shops. Got a bolero in dark pink to go with dress. Couldn't find any nice navy shoes either.

Shoes need to be open toed/sandal. Kitten heel or stiletto heel but not high.

What other colours work? Not a massive fan of nude shoes and would like to be able to wear shoes again.

I do have black sandal style kitten heels, can I wear those with navy dress?

I'm in Ireland, so can't risk ordering from UK to get in time (plus customs charges and delay) but some brands we have here.

Dress this is link to dress as my pics aren't great.

Any help much appreciated

I think if it were me I'd try to get navy, dark pink, green or cream before I'd wear black with that dress.

Unfortunately, the shops are full of block heeled sandals this year so kitten heels might be harder to find.

Have a look at Paul Byron shoes (I'm in Ireland too, delivery is fast if you can't get to a shop) there's quite a good selection there.

Or sometimes New Look have some nice sandals, what about these

or these are nice too although high

I’d look at eBay for your bag - lots of bargains to be had. If you find a bag in a nice bright colour that ties in nicely then I think you can get away with black shoes even though the dress is navy. No black/navy together is an outdated fashion rule.

Gold would work!

It's really really pretty, I'm not sure the heavy dark colour bolero works that well though. You said you don't like nude but I think a nude jacket or throw, nude shoes etc would make the dress stand out on its own a bit more.

Oh and navy shoes are so hard to find, been there before.

Try M&S, I’ve just bought a pair of the beige ones, but in Navy. Not on line, but in the store, they had more colours.
they say wide fit, but were fine.

Thanks, the bolero is lighter than it looks its more of a fuchsia/cerise, just the light in my room is bad but I do have a nice cream little 3/4 sleeve cardi somewhere I think, that I can bring though. Will try to find that and try on.

I was in new look other day and didn't really like the shoes there in real life. I've narrow feet too so the wide fit doesn't work I find.

Will have a look through the Paul Byron shoes some might suit.

I did look on ebay for bag but a lot were not posting from Ireland so the delivery date a bit tight.

There is also these shoes in pink but block heel
Shoes

Thanks for the help. Will have a look at suggestions

I'm not sure about the ankle strap, again a distraction from the lovely dress. I'd go mule or sling back.
