Children in matching tops?

Is it cute or cringe to put 2 boys (or girls) in matching tops? Ages 3 and 1 for attending a wedding next month. They wouldn't be entirely matching (different trousers & shoes) but I've got matching shirts for them, I'm just wondering if we will look daft dressing them like that. I got them because they have a subtle design on them that is the eldest favourite thing (e.g imagine he loves boats, it has a small boat on it)

I'm doubting myself now and thinking I might just get a different shirt for the little one. Any thoughts?

Fine and cute at that age, especially for a wedding. Mine had matching little suits for my SILs wedding with just different shoes. Go for it 😊

At that age I think it's cute for a wedding.

Yes agree, fine at that age!

At that age and for a special occasion is extremely cute - go for it

Definitely acceptable and in fact I'd say obligatory Grin There are some fantabulous photos of me and my siblings is matching garb in the late 70s/early 80s we get such a laugh at them now!

My friend matches her boys all the time and they look adorable!
I occasionally match 8mo and 4 DD’s (I have for a wedding) and love it, 4yo loves it when her little sister looks like her. I won’t get away with it when DD starts school, she’ll want space to develop her own ideas on what to wear and won’t want to have a matching dress with her baby sister!

Aw thanks guys!! I'm definitely going to go for it then Grin
