Can anyone recommend a dermatologist in London. My skin is awful and I’ve forgotten what it’s like to not be uncomfortable and embarrassed about how I look.

it’s a combination of dryness, flaring red bits and random spots.
Thanks.

If its acne Google zapped skin. Online acne advice.

And treatment. There are also trust pilot reviews online. If its not acne just Google dermatologists in the main teaching hospitals and there shd be someone you can see to help. GL

Have a look at your local trust(s) website dermatology departments. Look at all the consultant dermatologists, write down their names and their special interests if they have any. Once you have done that, google each of them to see if they do any private practice locally. Read the reviews.
Then book a private appointment.
Keeping everything local will make life easier for you going forward.
You need to consider vitamin deficiencies and allergies with those symptoms, so blood tests are likely to be a first step.
Have you not had any luck with GP?

Dr Lawrence Lever. 108 Harley Street.
I’ve seen him a number of times. He’s excellent.

What part of London are you in? We have someone in SW London.

@endofthelinefinally Thats really helpful. My gp has been useless.

The Newson Clinic seem to set store by and collaborate with Belgravia Dermatology.

Snowraingain · 19/05/2022 07:26

Thanks I’ll look at all of these. I’m trying to avoid anyone who sells their own line of skin care. Thanks again

@Snowraingain did you get anywhere with this? I'm exactly the same position and like you want to avoid anywhere with their own branded skincare
