It’s a bag one… help please!

I am looking for a new work bag. Must be big enough for a laptop, purse, notebook and ideally a water bottle. I looked at the Saint Laurent East West tote but it doest feel sturdy enough. I am very open to suggestions - thank you in advance!

Anyone? Budget around 1.5k. Thanks 😊

I don’t think all the bags I have ever bought in my life cost 1.5k

I use a medium LV neverfull. It's really old (about 18yrs) and it is fab.

Senreve Maestra (I love mine)
Sarah Haran Poppy backpack (converts to a shoulder bag too)
Fossil Camilla convertible backpack (I love mine too), this fits my netbook. And is slimmer than the Maestra.

As you can tell, I am a big fan of convertible backpacks. I think a laptop and water bottle in a tote would be very heavy so the weight is better spread over both shoulders. Yet there are times you may want to wear it crossbody or on your shoulder so you can wear the above bags multiple ways. All these bags are a fraction of your budget as the luxe brands don't seem to do that. The Senreve in particular is very sturdy

I have a lot of walking to get to work so I use a knomo backpack for the laptop/ work papers.

@mdh2020 I don't think all the bags I bought in my life cost £1500 but I am 29 and I carry the same bag everyday (and have a clutch for functions). I also carry the same bag overseas so it must have a crossbody function (pickpockets!) My most expensive bag cost £575 (current bag). But I can imagine spending £1k though the idea scares me a little. I would rather have 1 bag I love than 5 £200 bags.

Thanks for suggestions. The LV neverfull or the lockme shopper are options but I already have a LV bag so wanted another brand.
I don’t really walk to work and would prefer a tote or shoulder bag but I’ll look into these suggestions @Fridafever and @Elsie2022
