Urgent foundation help needed!

I'm 50, but I've got good skin, thanks to a fierce regime.

I've had Botox & Fillers, but it all looks normal, I haven't gone too far with it.
So I look a little fresher than I would have if I hadn't had them, not some exaggerated cartoon version of myself.

As I WFH I haven't worn anything more than light makeup for a year.

At the weekend we're going to DH's work event.
It's last-minute but very exclusive!
I don't have time for a SpaceNK appointment or similar.

So MN geniuses, please can you recommend your best:

• Full cover foundation
• Light cover foundation
• Moisturiser

Thank you Smile

For a special event I use charlotte tilbury magic cream before foundation. You can usually get a sample off ebay.

Just book in at a local counter. I recommend bonni brown serum foundation it's the bomb but you really need matching up.

I'd go for Nivea Q10 day moisturiser or Origins Ginzing (or L'Occitane Immortelle Divine cream if I was splashing out.

Then Benefit Porefessional Primer

Then Rimmel London Lasting finish which is inexpensive but the best foundation I've ever found for not aging your skin. Strong coverage but very natural looking and brilliant at covering blemishes all day long.

And follow Andreea Ali's make up advice. It's perfect.

A serum foundation would be good.

Do any of the serums have good things in them e.g hyaluronic acid or similar?

Pre pandemic, for weddings and big occasions I always used Double Wear for full coverage, though I appreciate that it's a love it or hate it product.

For a full coverage foundation I am loving the Phoera foundation (I buy it off Amazon) it's ridiculously cheap but honestly does such a good job and isn't drying or cakey on the skin.

I've also recently bought the new dupe to CT's Flawless Filter (made by Collection, it's called filter something-or-other you can pick it up in Boots, Superdrug etc) it's bloody brilliant! Of course you could up the spends and buy the CT one. Mix a bit in with your foundation or use as base under the foundation, it really gives a lovely dewy glow.

I'd go cheap and go to superdrug and get revolution. I really rate their makeup (and foundations) but if I don't like it, no bother because it was cheap enough.

I use a very light oil under my foundation nowadays for the dewy look.

And I like the Charlotte Tilbury primers.

I like the revolution fixing spray with hylauronic acid.

It cosmetics CC cream is the most perfect stuff - Nigella swears by it - it's like having your own skin that looks perfect.

The Estee Lauder futurist foundation is fabulous.
