Long torso + big boobs

Hear me out.
Never been pregnant and never will be.

However im 5"7 with a long torso, E cups, wide shoulders and a desire to on occasion not dress completely frumpy.
I love a big tent dress with a belt, but i need alternatives, but shopping for mini dresses or tops that arent cropped or frumpy is just impossible.

However, on a whim i bought a cheap maternity mini dress on Depop, one that doesnt have a seam under the bust.
It was the right length!! Not an ultra mini on me! (Worn with a belt which i would wear anyway)
Emboldened by this, i found a cheap maternity vest in the asos sale and once again, success. And you wouldnt be able to tell it was maternity. Its actually a decent length!

Just wanted to share - wont be making a habit of buying second hand maternity stuff as would rather leave it for people who need it, but has anyone else with similar proportions tried this?

Or if you are long of torso and big of chest, what do you wear/where do you shop? I need ideas, i feel like im missing a trick a lot of the time.

I am a similar shape and have bought maternity clothes before. I don't spend a huge amount on clothes but find Tesco are bigger in the bust than most. I tend to buy stretchy dresses (mostly wrap style) nowadays. Have a much smaller bottom half so getting things that fit both is a challenge.

Also the last vest tops I got in Tesco were a really good length.

You sound like me, although I’m 5’6”. I’ve got quite short legs, 30” to the ground, so trousers are a pain. I do tend to wear separates, but love a dress. I’ve got a couple from Hush that ok, you often the waist ends up under my bust!

Same exact same build as you, OP. I find a midi shirt dress with belt really flattering.

I'm same shape as you, but with much bigger boobs Confused I got some vests from Sainsbury's and almost wept when they were skimming my hips! I wear wrap tops and dresses and have had some great bits and pieces from Sosander.
