Where would you wear this to?

So having put on a couple of stone recently ordered a few bits and love this outfit however not quite sure where would be suitable to wear it? I barely dress up these days and I don't know when I last wore heels lol! I have a friends birthday drinks at a bar but feel it would be too overdressed for that.

I don't think they go together. I would wear the skirt dressed down with a t-shirt & sandals or trainers.

I don't like it OP, it's garishly 80s soap character style, all together.

I agree with PP, wear a simpler top & sandals & that might be a better look?

Top and shoes lovely, but with some jeans! The skirt I wouldn't wear it anywhere tbh, maybe seaside holiday with a white t-shirt, nude flat leather sandals...

I think the skirt would look best dressed down with trainers or tan sandals. I echo a pp suggestion to team it with a white t-shirt. I'd also add layered necklaces and maybe a denim for chilly evenings.

You look like you’ve got a great figure OP but that outfit really does you no favours. The shirt and shoes paired with a different skirt/ jeans would look great and the skirt would look good as a beach cover up/ with a plain vest and sandals

I like the colour of the skirt very much but the puckering of the side seam spoils it a bit. Love the shoes.

I'm a size 16! I was a size 12! I weigh 13.3 stone at the moment and was 11, 9.5 Pre kids!

I was thinking a white t shirt with the skirt as I was wearing that when I first put it on and thought it went!

Will avoid both together or perhaps just take it back as I am not sure when I would wear it thanks for your opinions!

You look fab but not sure on the skirt at all OP, it doesn't look well made and I can't imagine where one would wear that in that colourway.

If you really like the shirt and want to keep it perhaps try it with lighter denim or white trousers? I don't think it works well with the black jeans.

Ditch the skirt but the blouse is lovely - although I think lighter or white jeans and tan flat sandals.

Are you using some sort of filter on that phone because you look very slim! Wish I had legs your length

Im just adding my two penn'orth - I really don't like that skirt, the jeans look much better but personally I'd wear that blouse with light blue ripped jeans or white ones for a more summery look. I know white jeans are a bit marmite but I always get loads of compliments when I wear mine and have converted more than one friend!

I struggle to have opinions about clothes but I quite don't like the skirt. You need an outlandish personality to carry it off, I suppose.

I've seen lots of skirts like that OP. A lot of women wear them where I am, including with heels for nights out, so I don't think you need go casual in it if you don't want to. I don't like it with the blouse. I'd go for a plain white or black body with it. Tbh I don't like the blouse at all, but it looks a lot better with the jeans
