Identify dress help

I was on the car so couldn't ask where the woman had bought her dress. Not sure what the style of dress is called. Maybe a pinafore, from the back it looked like a full, quite loose skirt but it had a pinafore from and the 'straps' went on the shoulders and attached at skirt waist. It was navy in colour. Would look nice with a t-shirt or vest top under. Length was the knee or maybe just below. I don't suit normal pinafore dresses as the are too tight and short (I am 5"11 size 12/14). Anyone have any idea what I am talking about? I have had no luck with googling

ive never shopped at shein, it’s just the first thing that came up. Just checking if it’s this kind of thing you need to search for.

I think you would have to watch for excessive side boob with the one linked.

Try googling apron dress. I think Toast and Seasalt do some like these fairly regularly.
