I bought new white trainers...

And I'm undecided. They were €110 but it was only as I was at the register that I realized they were 'vegan' ie not leather. €110 seems v expensive for synthetic shoes?? They are lovely though.. I was planning to buy some of those super high platforms but they looked ridiculous on me. Anyway here they are

Opinions? Should I return?

What I don't like about them is that they look like a dupe for the much more popular Veja sneakers.
And for not much less in €!
If you like that style I would probably go for Veja.
The vegan material wouldn't bother me

It would bother me. There have been plastic/non leather shoes on the go for years but calling them “vegan” is just jumping on a bandwagon as an excuse to charge daft prices for dirt cheap materials

Says 89 quid now. Yes they are a lot but costs for trainers have gone up, and if you like them, treat yourself.

How long are you expecting to have them for? Vegan leather tends to start disintegrating after 2-3 years. But you might have worn them out by then anyway.
how breathable do you think they are? Most vegan leather is sweaty plastic.

If you really don't want leather I'd go for canvas, as it will be much more breathable.

I would return them simply because if you're anything like me they will be as uncomfortable as hell and give you painful corns on your feet!

Because they aren't leather they have absolutely no suppleness or give and stay rock hard. I don't wear mine anymore and have had to visit a chiropodist to treat the problems they've caused.

Also they are blatant veja rip-offs - I can't actually believe they're getting away with that the cheeky sods.

I don't like them, sorry. Rip offs of Vejas, which I don't like anyway and WTF is vegan leather, they're plastic. Are you vegan? There's lots of nicer options.

Thanks! I'm decided, I'm going to return them. I have never liked synthetic shoes, I honestly don't know what possessed me to get them.
