Hi there
My mum has the 8spf oil that's such a lovely smell and I bought the 30spf and it doesn't smell so much,

I need more than 8spf so was wondering what else out there not suncream smell so nice?

I think I never used to like coconut but this isn't just coconut?

Sorry to be clear, I'm after the smell not a suncream, I only bought the suncream thinking the smell was as potent as the oil

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. There is a Primark perfume that smells v similar too

Would be far cheaper to buy the Hawaiian Tropic to be honest . .

Ah okay; I was thinking about buying the oil then using the 30spf over it.

There is nothing (to me) that beats the smell of suncream in summer. Hawaiian tropic is up there

Hawaiian Tropic do body spray, you can get it in Boots and Superdrug (usually kept at the perfume section). Different holiday smells if that's what you're after?

Escada also do a range of holiday smelling perfumes.

I'm such a ninny, I've looked on the website and the oil is available in a 20 spf.
I did like the look of the oil too.

Would just have to reapply

Reapplying won't increase the spf. You don't magically get another hour with another application. Use it for the scent, but apply a different sunscreen for the protection or use physical barriers- clothes, hats etc.

TerryOrange · 10/05/2022 08:10

Ah yes I know, I usually use protection 50 I mean I would Apply 20 more often.
You have to reapply is doesn't last all day

If you want a tropical smelling spf50 try Malibu Dry Oil spf50, smells very similar to Hawaiian Tropic - available at B&M and Savers.
