I'm also quite jealous now. Where I live the normal length plain blue just isn't available. As I mentioned up thread they are either cropped or ripped, or even glittered, and at 52 I just don't want to do ripped or glittery jeans.
We have some Levi outlet shops and they do bloody good sales there, but they also have some, what I think, are returns. I was looking on the discount table and there they were, the perfect pair. My size, blue, no rips and even the right length. So luckily I thought to try them on as I wasn't sure why they were discounted. There was a small rip where the back pocket had caught something, so to me, not a big deal.
Try them on..... I could not get them to close on the fly. Not even close!
So I went to ask the sales assistant where the rest are as I'm happy to pay full price. Nope, there aren't any and this is just some random pair from goodness knows where.
I was GUTTED. I was so excited there for 10 mins before hitting the changing room.
I could have yellow or cream or some other variation, but not the bog standard classic. Why do they do this!
And then, it's clear that I have to try them on as the sizing seems weird. So I will continue my hunt.
I'm not in the UK, so ordering from overseas is just way too much of a risk.
