Is it just me? I am maybe getting on a bit, but I used to be able to see a couple of bits every year that I really liked. I've just been looking through what they are selling via Ambrose Wilson, and I'm not feeling it! There are a few things I've looked at that I suspect are a bit shapeless, judging by the photographs. cunningly posed with strategic use of arm placement etc to avoid showing me what it actually looks like. I really appreciate websites where they actually show the garment flat, so that I can decide if it will make me look even fatter by buying something in the shape of a square box. I've heard people on here say the quality has gone downhill of late, so should I just give up on it, and get me to the Marks and Spencers Per Una Specialz or the like? Grin

I find Joe Brown's are always over-designed. A perfectly lovely garment is ruined by a feature which usually looks like it's been stolen from a completely different garment and stuck on randomly. Shame.

That's interesting. Yes, you're right! Grin

I’ve had a couple of dresses from there that have been nice for a few wears but once they’ve been through the wash look really tired and old. I won’t be buying from there again unless it’s very reduced and not for anything smart. Shame really.
