I don’t want to humble brag but im
struggling to buy clothes that fit me. Everything is too big. I’ve got an Eating disorder and am now pretty skinny. The issue I come to you with is not the ED, it’s the dressing part. I’m a size 6 though in truth most shop’s 6 is huge on me.
im off to a wedding in a few months and I’ve not had the chance to dress up in probably a decade because I’m a total dweeb.
can you help me find a dress please that
a) fits and doesnt make me look like a child dressing up in her mum’s clothes
b) is a a bit special
c) less than £70

thanks for reading x

I hope you’re getting help kennycat 💐

If you’ve not thought of it, teen girls places may be a good place to look. New Look girls, Shein, Zara are just a few places I can think of off the top of my head that my daughter likes. Nowadays they really are smaller versions of adult clothing so you won’t look like you’re in children’s clothes.

I have seen size 4s too about now too on the high street,I’ll rack my brains to think where.

Is it worth looking at European brands? Spanish and French? I find they are smaller by dint of their general
Populations being less hefty, and shorter than us.

Yes, that’s jogged my memory,it was Mango I saw the size 4s. Eg this dress on John Lewis website

Would look special with heels.

Thanks all, I’ve have a look at your suggestions. I may end up getting my
mum ti make something, although I’d be embarrassed for her to see some of my skinny bits.

River Island do a size 4 and 6 which may suit. Quality there sometimes surprisingly good. But varies! Otherwise continental brands - Zara perhaps but higher budget Maje or Sandro also do smaller sizes.
