I am looking for recommendations for a hairdresser in SE London. I've been a loyal customer of Headmasters for over ten years and I love the lady who does my hair but it's just got too expensive and they are always pushing some expensive product you MUST HAVE.
And I cannot stand how they think olaplex is the holy grail.
Anywhere around Bromley, Beckenham, Lewisham, Forest Hill, Greenwich, Blackheath etc...
It doesn't have to be cheap just not insane

I used to go to Haywards Golding. I moved to the other end of the country 8 years ago and still miss Kelsey. I've never found another hairdresser who cuts my hair so well.

Shingo at Kuki Hair in Peckham Rye is just ace, I've been going to him for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Very good value too.

I liked the Hair Lounge and the Curious Comb in Greenwich when I lived there.

After the eye watering (almost fell on the floor) price I was charged at Headmasters - I’m never going back.

How much were you charged? I paid £250 for a cut and half head highlights in Brixton. I needed a nice lie down after that. In fact it wasn’t even half head, it was more the roots and fringe. Used to pay £175 at the last place, at Waterloo, for half head highlights and cut.

Thanks so much. I think headmasters is incredibly expensive and they put a lot of pressure on the staff to sell extras. Olaplex and all types of dodgy treatments.
I loved the woman who did my hair but I don’t want to pay loads for treatments on top of the eye watering cost of the cut and highlights.
