LightInTheBox ads on Mumsnet

LadyEloise10 · 07/05/2022 20:27

I keep seeing ads for dresses from LightInTheBox on Mumsnet as I'm reading threads on the Mumsnet app.
Has anyone ordered from them and if so what are your thoughts please ?
Were you happy with your purchase ?
Were returns easy ?
Thanks in advance

I ordered a shirt for my little boy. It's not great quality tbh and I wouldn't order from them again. Quite expensive for what it was too.

It's a Chinese site. I wouldn't waste your money

Bramshott · 08/05/2022 10:45

Returns are almost impossible as they have to go back to China at your own expense.

Chinese rubbish, equivalent to Wish. They do the same trick of advertising a designer dress but you'll receive a cheap knock off

Thank you for your reply.
There are gorgeous dresses being advertised as I read threads on Mumsnet.
If an offer looks too good to be true it probably is. Sad

I was behind a woman in the post office yesterday who was trying to return something to Light In The Box. They told her it was going to be £35 and she decided not to bother. She said the item was £15.
