I don’t know anything about trends or brands.
which of these do you prefer for wearing with cropped wide leg trousers / jump suits?
Which do you think are comfiest?
is there a better option?
thanks.

note: the air and grace are twice the price of the other two.

I’ve got a couple of pairs of Air and Grace Roxy, which have a flatform sole. They are very comfortable, wore straight out of box no problem. Feel comfortable underfoot. They are heavy though, so next time will go for style in your photo. I can’t comment on Veja, but a lot of people on here say that they aren’t the comfiest, and the tongue is very long. Might depend on style though

Air and Grace.
I find Superga very heavy- like walking with bricks.

PAFMO · 07/05/2022 20:07

You want Fitflop Rally
Superga are really uncomfortable and heavy.

museumum · 07/05/2022 20:09

Interesting. Maybe air and grace are worth the money then?
do fitflop not look a bit like nurses shoes rather than cool trainers?

I have a pair of Veja Esplar and love them!! Really comfy and go with pretty much anything!

i tried the FitFlop and they are felt like lovely soft pillows, but I thought they looked like nurses shoes too! I’m a 6, maybe the look better in small sizes.

I bought a pair from Pavers yesterday. Like walking on air! just as good as STAN smiths but much cheaper at |£47.

ohthejoy21 · 07/05/2022 20:25

Air and grace are nice but I've never had any.
Vejas look good but are very stiff to break in and the tongue is long and cuts into your ankle at first unless you wear socks too. I also thought they looked scruffy quite quickly and they are over popular so not cool anymore really.
Superga's... no... so 5 years ago in my opinion.
Whoever mentioned fit flop trainers has no idea about cool I think!
Check out axel arigato, quite popular now but lots of different styles. My favourites are the plain platform ones, they're heavy at first but very comfy, lovely soft Italian leather.
I'm about to buy some off white vulcanised, but they're canvas.
You can't go wrong with Stan smiths. Cheap and easy and comfortable

Karmatime · 07/05/2022 20:41

I have those Air and Grace ones, they are like slippers, so comfy. They are not too chunky and look great with dresses.

Sooverthemill · 07/05/2022 20:58

Air and grace are very comfortable I have those in a different colourway. Love them
the Veja pictured are the campo, I have this exact ones plus another colour and they are really comfortable with no breaking in needed unlike other Veja styles with long tongues
the third look clumpy to me but they are probably just as nice

jackstini · 07/05/2022 21:02

Have you looked at Victoria's? Schuh, ASOS etc. sell them

Mine are so comfortable - easy 10k walking round London and half the price of my A&Gs

museumum · 08/05/2022 13:18

The Victoria looks an awful lot like the veja - is it supposed to? Is it Berlin or Madrid you have @jackstini ?

OP posts:
jackstini · 08/05/2022 13:33

@museumum - not sure! Although Victoria have been around as a company for over 100 years - maybe Veja copied them?! Grin

It's these ones I have, but they don't say which style on them
