Trinny London - are there ever any discounts?

After many months of looking at the adverts and following on Instagram I bought some trinny london make up. I mainly go for natural type understated tints rather than foundation. After splashing out I got the colour wrong for the BFF De Stress tinted serum. Have tried it a few times, love the texture but it is too pale for me. I want to buy the next colour along the scale but at £39 it's pretty pricey and am reluctant to spend that again just a month after buying the other one. And what if I'm wrong again on the colour? I have asked and they don't do samples (despite giving out samples with their products). So if I can at least get 10% off I'm tempted to buy and try my luck. No discounts/ cashback through quidco either.
Any suggestions - and by the way I live about 300 miles away from their London shop.

I saw that they did 10% off everything once but it was a while ago. I think discounts will be very rare.

I will add though that I had a sample of BFF and loved it but am put off by the SPF as I'd mainly use it in the evening

Yes the texture and smell is lovely of the one I have, i just look completely washed out which isn't really the look I want 😊

You can get it in other places apart from London.

The only time I've seen Trinny discounted is on/around Black Friday.

You can often buy samples on Ebay for expensive brands. Not exactly a bargain but cheaper than buying whole thing if it's not right.
