Teal Sapphire jewellery

I've seen a beautiful engagement ring online that's teal sapphire. I've always quite liked the traditional blue sapphire but am slightly put off by Princess Di/ the Duchess of Cambridge. I've never seen a teal sapphire in the flesh but am really drawn to it. Is it a terrible idea?!

Not at all.
If it’s something you like the look of, go try some on and see how they look against your skin tone, on your fingers and what shapes you like.

Of course not, it sounds beautiful. And anyway as long as you love it that’s all that matters.
my engagement ring is a 2ct lilac sapphire and I adore it! So personal to our story.

I've never seen it in the flesh though, that's the problem. No high st stores seem to have it.

Teal sapphires are really pretty but there is quite a lot of colour variation - as there is in blue sapphire.

If you buy on line make sure it's from a reputable site and that you can send it back if you don't like the colour.
