What kind of trainers do I need?

I really need some new ones and am unlikely to manage a leisurely browse in a shop without DC in tow. What kind of trainers can I buy that don’t make me look frumpy?

I’d mostly wear them with jeans but perhaps also long skirts and dresses. Need to be comfy for lots of walking. Don’t need to use them for running. Have previously got on well with Skechers but thinking these may be a bit dated?

Comfy cush vans.

New Balance? I like both of these colours.

Vejas. Still the comfiest trainers I've ever owned

@Restlessinthenorth , are they comfy? That’s good to know. I’ve heard of them and seen them online but did wonder if they were worth the price.

Incredibly comfy. I did 24 miles over 3 days in London in a brand new pair not long ago. Feet were totally comfy and no rubbing or blisters. Well worth the spend I feel

New Balance? I like both of these colours.

I've got those New Balance ones. They look great but they're not very comfortable and make my knees veer (extra) inwards..

I recommend good pair of Nikes OP. Or different New Balance.
