Fuller coverage bikini?

I'm looking for a bikini with big high waisted pants and a simple (not stringy or skimpy) top, that's actually in stock. Not black or white or brown, ideally blue or green. I've looked in every place I can think of and nothing (unless I want to spend £100)! Any ideas please?

I've bought a couple of high waisted bikinis from Very in the past. Not sure what they've got available at the moment though.

Toomuchleopard · 05/05/2022 23:03

I’ve just bought a few from CupShe they have loads of high waisted bottoms.

Cos has one with a crop top but in red, a beautiful coral red though, I’ve just bought the costume version and love it.
otherwise figleaves has always been my go to for swimwear

Sadly Figleaves got bought out by Simply Be a while back and hasn't been as good since

I like Shein for bikini’s. I know Shein isn’t a mumsnet favourite!
I have one similar to this
The quality is as you’d expect but for all the wear I get out of it it’s not been an issue.

cannaethink · 06/05/2022 17:52

Hmm I don’t think that link worked!

Oh no!

Tigofigo · 08/05/2022 21:26

Thanks, I'm pretty anti Shein due to them ripping off other shops and poor ethics... and cupshe website looked dodgy to me - what's the quality like?

I will check out Very, thanks

Decathlon had some nice ones last year in the surfing/windsurfing section.

GettingStuffed · 09/05/2022 10:17

Try Cupshe, it's a brand I've seen on a few US YouTube videos. They are totally inclusive and are a reasonable price. This for instance is on offer at £17.99

Libertynan · 09/05/2022 10:27

I was tempted by Cupshe until I read a lot of the reviews. some were positive others not so much. Also some reviewers post pics of themselves wearing the items - that gives a much truer impression of how it might fit a regular person.
I used to buy mine from Debenhams etc - the more expensive brands were usually a good buy as the fit was much more supportive.

It seems now that neither Debenhams or John Lewis have much either.

I'll look more for you - bored (in bed with Covid)

Libertynan · 09/05/2022 10:30

Pour Moi ? I haven't ordered from here so can't comment. They do seem to have a good selection though .

Libertynan · 09/05/2022 10:36

oh link to page is pour moi

QuantumWeatherButterfly · 09/05/2022 10:40

I have just tried on that exact bikini from Pour Moi - it is a lovely colour and pattern, and good quality. I particularly liked the briefs, but returned because neither of the tops fitted quite right. I tried the bra style one and the halterneck. Probably a different size would have been fine, but I couldn't face all the back and forth of finding which one.

astoundedgoat · 09/05/2022 10:40

Aerie have loads (and usefully photograph different sized women in them, so you don't have to guess if you'll look good in the bikini that looks amazing on a flat-chested waif of 18!) and Asos too - although they have millions, so you'll have to scroll or get experimental with search terms.

H & M - I actually have a bikini which I purchased 4 years ago. It is very supportive and has lasted well (although I haven't had many holidays in that time. Tried it on for my forthcoming beach trip though and it's still fine). Cheap too - so ifyou hate it after the holiday no great pressure to use it again.

SneezesHaveStarted · 09/05/2022 10:53

I’m large up too and have had success with Pour Moi and Bravissimo

SneezesHaveStarted · 09/05/2022 10:53
