Lash extensions

I'm booked in for a lash lift and tint but I've been looking through the photos of the ladies work who is doing it for me and she does super natural lash extensions (classic lashes I think they were called) which look lovely. I have never had lash extensions before, so I'm a bit clueless but I'm thinking of maybe getting these instead. Can anyone who's had lash extensions tell me if they will damage my own lashes? And I go swimming quite a bit, would getting them wet underwater be an issue at all? Or anything else I need to know?

They don’t damage your lashes if done properly. Swimming is fine but no steamy environments for 48 hours. Beware you’ll want tyrm again and again though

I like how they look but after 3 weeks or so they start dropping off and they start to look crap so they require quite a lot of maintenance. With the lift and tint it grows out gradually so I can leave it til I want to get it re-done.

I love them but I hate them! Can't rub your eyes and they're very itchy. Look amazing though.

I had mine done 3 years ago in Vietnam and haven’t been without them since (bat a few months during lock down)

I have naturally short lashes and love they way extensions look. Have natural ones too.

it’s blissful not having to wear mascara, although they are quite high maintenance. I go every 3 weeks at £25 a time but really wouldn’t be without them.

Not sure on swimming: should be ok.
