Ash blonde roots rescue!

I've really need to fix my roots! I've got large mousy/grey roots, growing out from baby blonde highlights.

I've dyed at home many times, hairdresser fix is not an option. I'm planning to leave the ends of than to blend in the root like a root stretch.

What colours would you suggest for a true ashy blonde? I want cool blonde tones, not yellow, but not as white as platinum.

Purple shampoo you leave on for a while. Box colours are rubbish fir Ash blonde I find.

I've got loads of that, but definitely need to blend the root and the growing out highlights with something as the root really sticks out.

Ash blonde is a nightmare!
