I don't think a smaller size would do you, no - I think waist is already sitting a bit high - I have the same issue, and I think a smaller size would make that worse.

It doesn't look especially flattering, and you don't look as if you like it much yourself from your posture?

I like it, just not sure I like it on me! Admittedly that as a rubbish photo and my posture is bad.

I find dresses impossible to size these days. They are so odd-shaped that you can’t tell if they fit either from the website or even when you try them on.

Today I tried a size 14 dress (my usual size) that was too small for me in one shop (& Other Stories) and then bought one from Anthropologie that seems a bit big but is generally ok - it’s a size 6. I am definitely not a size 6. And the size 14 would have fitted my whole family.

I’ve decided I’m going to have to go shopping in person (which I hate) for a few more things as otherwise I’d have to order each thing in about eight sizes.

But you definitely look nice in yours. 😊

Yes, I'm not having much luck shopping online either. And no longer enjoy shopping in person like I used to. It's hard to believe I used to go shopping alone almost every month with absolute confidence in every purchase.
