Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful skin foundation....worth it or not?

Anyone tried this? Does it live up to the hype? I'm a huge Revlon fan and their foundations are brilliant but this CT Beautiful skin has caught my eye, but at nearly £40 a tube I just wondered if it was worth it. Thank you.

I bought it but I picked a shade that’s a bit too dark for me. I’ll try it out in the summer but I anticipate I’ll be using it very lightly. It’s quite nice. A bit thicker than I expected but not too heavy. A makeup artist I know swears by it but most people aren’t doing a glowing bridal look every day. If you’re looking to treat yourself, go for it, but if you’re not fussed, stick with what you already like.

Thanks for that, I might buy it if I have a special occasion otherwise it sounds like it could be a bit cakey for every day use..

It's definitely not cakey, I use it for every day use. It's very glowy so I do use the matt powder too. I'd recommend it. It's similar to IT cosmetics, but more coverage which I like now we've taken the masks off.

Thanks for that, I found some old threads on MN about CT foundations and one poster said it was just like Rimmel but in fancy packaging, I'm glad to hear it's not! Nothing wrong with Rimmel btw but I wouldn't splash out on it..
