What shoes with this dress?

I've bought this dress for a spring wedding. My everyday style would be to wear it with white trainers and I'm struggling to decide what style of 'smart' shoe will look best. I think I would like some height (heel or platform) so I feel a bit more elegant, but not too high as I'm very out of practice for wearing anything that's not flat! I'm 5'5" so the dress is more of a maxi on me. Thanks.

A nude wedge would go nicely with that dress 👌

I'd go for a really bright pair of shoes, a block heel if you aren't confident in a narrower heal.

Bright crimson, royal blue or a bright emerald green would all look amazing.

Agree with above. Nude wedge or even a block heeled sling back to reduce the risk of blisters.

Black or nude wedge strappy sandal would be nice.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll start shopping. Not sure if I'm brave enough for a very bright colour but lots of food for thought.
