Dh has a birthday coming up and he wants some nice new T-shirts and shirts. His are all old and awful. Where do you recommend I look?

He’s only early 30s (not that it should matter!)

All Saints
Belstaff
Hugo Boss
CK
M&S
Motorcycle rallies/festivals

LivingDeadGirlUK · 03/05/2022 15:57

M&S for jeans, EMP for shirts and tshirts.

Marbles321 · 03/05/2022 16:06

Reiss, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren and John Lewis

TheChosenTwo · 03/05/2022 16:09

Ralph Lauren for tops (shirts and T-shirts) and Levi’s for jeans. That’s literally it. There are about 60 tops in his wardrobe all from RL, he’s very lazy about shopping and goes to one shop to buy everything he needs once a year! He says they’re good quality, fit nicely and wash and wear well, no need to faff about elsewhere 🙄

Blimeyherewegoagain · 03/05/2022 16:13

Next, M&S and Whitestuff in that order. Next jeans and chinos fit really well.

Can I jump in and ask, where is particularly good for longer length tops? T-shirts are always halfway up DH's back! (6'4" with a long back)

M&S and Jacamo do long length tshirts and shirts, DS is a long bodied 6'2 and they are great on him.

DelphiniumBlue · 03/05/2022 18:10

DH likes White Stuff and Fat Face for shirts, but he is old! DS3 gets lots from H&M, some of their shirts are good quality, more so than the women's clothes. DS1 who is tall gets from M&S or Jacamo.

Blimey. Looks like my DH is the only man who's wardrobe is entirely furnished via Asda/George Blush maybe it's an age thing!

Kittykatmacbill · 03/05/2022 20:53

uniqlo, rapha, Zara and H&M for most clothes. More rapha, pretentious cycling brands with odd bits of Nike, Salomon and Adidas trail running thrown in for good measure.
skinny verging on wiry, average height and early 40s.

VerveClique · 03/05/2022 21:27

DH is tall and built like a heavyweight boxer.

He only ever buys clothes from M&S, TK Maxx, Sports Direct and outdoors shops, in that order. Wears a uniform for work which makes that easy. Shoes mainly from TK Maxx.

Like quality but nothing with obvious logos, patterns, stripes etc.

Goes clothes shopping twice a year.

Catlitterqueen · 04/05/2022 14:42

Zazdar · 04/05/2022 15:07

He makes a special trip every two or three years.

SalsaLove · 04/05/2022 15:11
