I’m going to Spain at the end of the month and would like help with accessorising as it’s not something I’ve ever bothered with before so don’t know where to start. I’d like to buy a neutral coloured bag that could go with lots of different outfits and colours, along with some flat sandals that would look nice in an evening, and maybe one or two necklaces and bracelets. I’d like things that are versatile so I can mix and match between outfits if possible but just don’t really know where to start. I’m mid 30’s and like silver jewellery. Have a few small chains already but thinking something more colourful/summery maybe?

Thank you. They look lovely! I’m near a Dune shop so I’ll see if I can try them on

I've ordered this bag which I think I'll get great use of all summer. Goes lovely with my gold birkenstocks and lots of outfits.

Oh that bag is lovely! I’ve got a few bits to return to Next too. Thank you!

I'd buy the bag and jewellery once you get there, Spain is fab for leather, and it's always nice to buy jewellery on holiday, you have something to remember it by when you get home.

I was thinking of getting some jewellery there for the reason you mentioned, but would like something to take with me too so that I have something to wear until I find some there. Didn’t think about getting the bag there too! Thank you 🙂

I buy my holiday jewellery from Primark so I don’t have to worry about it being stolen/lost.

If you like silver then I would maybe buy silver sandals and a silver cross body evening bag.

I have a silver beach bag and flip flops for daytime too.

For jewellery just get a selection of drop earrings, hoops and studs, then various length necklaces and bangles, silver bead stack bracelets and a cuff. Depending on how dressy your evening wear is, maybe diamante earrings and bracelets or pear ones - Primark do some great stretchy stacker sets.

Also don't forget a great hat, sunglasses and overshirts!

I normally take a straw or rattan bag and tan sandals as they go with most things.

Jewellery depends on your style. I prefer something chunky or edgy. Bangles are nice on holiday.

I think Accessorize is great for this sort of thing.

Rina66 · 04/05/2022 08:35

Yes, I agree Accesorize are great, and I really like M & S jewellery too.

Have a look at TKmaxx for straw bags, I got a bargain bag that I was eying up on Masai, was £78, picked it up in TKmaxx for £9.

I too would wait for other bags and jewellery, you can always find something different and in the whole better prices than in the UK esp for silver. And you will not bump into someone with the same
