Best budget curling wand/tongs?

I've just forked out a fortune for some new straighteners which I was hoping to be able to use for curls too but they are wide irons and the curls just seem to drop straight out.

They straighten really well but I just can't seem to get the curls to hold.

I've got quite thick long hair.

Hit me up with the most affordable wand/tongs for my hair type!

Any other tips to get the curls to hold most welcome!

TIA 😊

Try some spray wax straight after curling. Mine fall out if I don't use it

I have very long thick hair and use babyliss curl Pro (I wrap the hair round the whole rod rather than use the tong bit). They are 25 quid, a hairdresser used them on me and recommended them.

Another good brand are Diva
