From the price alone, no.

There should be at least 8-12 stitches around the “puff” of the quilting and with the back pocket the diamond shapes should line up exactly. That’s about all I know but in my experience they’re good indication of authenticity.

From the price no its not authentic. My opinion is that when that is the price point, the seller assumes that the buyer is aware that its not authentic. Jumbo preloved is between 4.5k-5k on reputable sites. If you are after real do not buy this bag.

I’d say this is a high risk purchase. There was a MNetter who bought a watch from the site (I’ve just found it on) and she was scammed. Everyone on the site chat advised her against buying it…in fact general rule of thumb seems to be don’t spend more than £50. It’s very difficult to get your money back. If you have the money to spare you could chance it but I wouldn’t!

Make sure it comes with an authenticity card and that the authenticity number on that matches up to the label inside.
There’s nothing I can see from the photos that makes me think it’s counterfeit but it seems way too good to be true at that price. I don’t know of any Chanel bag that resells that cheaply never mind a classic. Proceed with caution OP….

It certainly looks fake. The leather grain is wrong, it has a cheap look about it. The hardware doesnt look right and £650 is laughable. It should be £4500-£5500+ as a second hand price.

If you think it's worth that much if it's a fake then go ahead, if not then don't bother.

The problems arise when fake bags r priced at 4-5k, then the preloved market is more problematic. Which is why I would never shop high ticket items from certain sites (vinted included).

Also ask about the date. Bags that pre date 2012 come with the black dust bag. However, if the seller claims it’s from a later date, it should come with the white moleskin dust bag that Karl Largerfeld designed with the image of Coco on under the flap. It should also come with the white books if it’s after 2012.

I've noticed on Vinted that "designer" bags at that price usually have a new seller (with a random name!) and no reviews sadly. That rings alarm bells for me.

Fake bags come with the cards too these days.

This looks like one that was posted on here the other day that had been bought on eBay for similar money. I think the consensus was it was fake and a genuine one would cost thousands. No one would sell a genuine bag worth thousands for a few hundred.
I wouldn't touch it personally unless you don't mind a fake.
