Best place to sell a designer bag?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to sell a Chanel handbag and I'm not sure how best to go about it. There are no consignment stores near me so I thought I'd venture online but I'm not sure where. I'd be grateful for recommendations to reputable sites.

Ok so I'm a member of several groups on Facebook. They also have several consignment companies that are on them as well as people just selling their bags.

There are rules that have to be followed of course ( such as having your bag authenticated if you don't Have the original receipt) and lots of photos to show the condition Ect.

Chanel addicted and the handbag hideaway in the U.K. are two good ones.

If you don't use social media Bagista is another place that you could sell via consignment.

For the price I would try and find a store tbh. If you use a website make sure you research it really thoroughly.

I’d second www.npnbags.co.uk - have bought and sold through Shian for years. With a high end Chanel I’d be very wary of using any of the Facebook groups although there are some good ones out there.

Net a porter also buy/sell second hand designer gear.
