Went into local Clarks and got my feet measured so that I would know what size I was in their shoes. Assistant measures then fetches 4 pairs in that size. Did any of them fit? Nope, none of them.
The assistant suggested alternatively going up size/width. Tried some different sizes and finally found a pair that fitted but not in the colour I needed.
AIBU to think that shoes in a specific size should fit someone measured to be that size? It's one thing if a brand just has sizes 4, 5, 6 etc but when your brand is all about full and half sizes and several width fittings surely their measuring system has to work otherwise it's pointless?
