I need to find some shoes for a wedding in June. I'm wearing a Seasalt dress which has a floral pattern on a dark blue background and falls to just below mid-.calf. I have the feet from hell - size 8-9, wide, dropped arches, bunions, puffy ankles and crooked toes. Am looking for something comfortable that doesn't draw attention to the horrors below. Just tried on some navy wedge sandals with a closed toe from Next which were really comfortable but the cross strap just emphasises the puffy ankle bone. Can anyone help?

I find these very comfortable, but the gold makes them feel dressy. Boden go up to a size 8.5.

There is nearly always a money off code floating about somewhere for Boden ...

They look really comfortable but I always feel that flats emphasise my stumpy calves and ankles - think I need a mid heel - or wedge?

How about some espadrilles?

How about:

I think when you have those foot issues, you are stuck with plain "old lady" shoes from the likes of Hotter etc (where you might find a decent choice) or a quirkier shoe from Fly, Ruby Shoos etc...perhaps go quirky with a bold contrast colour rather than matching the navy. Like the shoe above but maybe in yellow?

How about these? I had a pair similar when I had a swollen ankle for 5 years, turned out I had torn 2 of the ligaments!

Ah now those wedge espadrilles might be OK Isabelle70 - will send off for a pair. Thanks for all suggestions!
