Firstly, apologies for a second thread, but I can't seem to add photos to my last one.

Can I ask opinions on something else please?

Am I right in saying this dress isn't a flattering length on me? Plus the fact I think it's slightly longer on one side... but apart from that.

I need it to be on or just above the knee, or a couple of inches longer, don't I?

It’s not great but the shoes really don’t help. Have you tried it with some that don’t cut you off at the ankle?

stayathomer · 30/04/2022 19:23

Sorry yes, I don't think it's flattering, you've the best figure and it just looks like it doesn't fit. Shoes are gorgeous though!!

IamChipmunk · 30/04/2022 19:25

I think its the shoes... a heel would be better I think...

catstale · 30/04/2022 19:26

I like it. But then I don't show knees.

Where are the sandals from? They're fab.

BitOutOfPractice · 30/04/2022 19:28

Well the dress doesn’t fit and the shoes are all wrong but other than that, great 😬

doingmyboxin · 30/04/2022 19:32

@catstale They're from ALDO via ASOS.

I will try on with other sandals, once I dig them out of the car.

No heels that I would wear them with, really. Bought it as casual summer wear. I only wear heels on nights out/occasions.

Looks fine to me

Shinyandnew1 · 30/04/2022 19:56

I think it is a good length!

Lovinglife45 · 30/04/2022 19:57

Yes, if wearing flats you definitely need a shorter or longer length. This length is unflattering.

mistermagpie · 30/04/2022 19:59

I think it would be ok with different shoes - a pointed ballet flat maybe?

I love the sandals you're wearing though, just not with that dress.

doingmyboxin · 30/04/2022 20:02

I don't know why it's so long?

This is it on the model and I bought the petite version. I'm just under 5ft 2, so I'm not exactly extra petite.

Can you add a belt? It makes you look a bit square, which I'm sure you're not!

jackstini · 30/04/2022 20:08

It's not the most flattering and I actually think you could go down a size

Belt and different shoes might help, but if you don't love it, don't keep it - plenty of other options out there

I think I am! See my previous thread Grin

It would be nicer slightly above the knee but I still think it's very nice. Some different shoes would jazz it up a bit.
