Best nail strengthener?

My nails are constantly breaking, sometimes painfully short. I have been using hand cream and cuticle oil, wearing gloves to wash up but they still keep breaking. Any recommendations?

Sally Hansen maximum growth. Big blob of Vaseline rubbed into the nails as often as you remember throughout the day and last thing before bed.

I use Rimmel Nail Nurse - cheap but I find it as good as anything more expensive I've tried. My nails are really ridged and they split down the ridges. It helps to prevent this.

Nailtiques are good, but my greatest success is with a biotin tablet taken most days, gets my nails strong in no time.

I used Sally Hansen nail hardener, the original one, for a couple of weeks recently. Absolutely wrecked my nails. The nails broke really far down and started peeling and flaking. They looked awful. I think they are starting to recover but I've noticed underneath the nail is very pink in places rather than the usual light pink and sore to touch. Worried they are all going to drop off.

I've been using Opi Nail Envy and CND Solar Oil treatment for the last week and a bit to improve my nails . They seem to be growing well and look much better and stronger.
