Any jewellery experts in the house? Pics

I’ve found what is a very very beautiful eternity ring (the floral looking one)

However, it’s 9c white gold and my other rings are 18c. I understand usually wearing together is a big no-no because of the different hardness of the two metals bashing against eachother. But is this the case with plated gold and also does the ‘different’ shape of this ring make it any different/ less damaging to the other rings?

Basically is it stupid to buy this ring? It can be made into 18c but for a very very heafty price increase.

Thanks in advance.

Can't the jewellers you are thinking of buying from advise?

It is very pretty.

It would make very little difference in yellow gold, you'd have to wear them 24/7 for yearssss for them to wear down enough to be able to see it … but you are correct that with white gold there's only the rhodium plating and that can be renewed for little cost anyway. Go for it.
