Aqualyx treatment??

I have a consultation booked for having this fat dissolving treatment in my double chin. All before and after pics online look great and I can’t unearth any negative reviews but I’m still very interested to know if anyone here has any experience of Aqualyx? Any thoughts are very welcome!

i have had it and it does make a difference. Swelling is bad for a couple of days, soreness and the “fat” feels like a hard ball which can be scary until it vanishes. But it does 100% work. I’m very pleased with my results. I have had 2 treatments, my third and last one is still to happen.

Thanks for reply Scrubsupwell. It sounds like you’re happy with results- would you go as far as recommending it??

Yes I would, it’s made me a bit more confident after lockdown/age/bad dietary choices

liftthatup · 29/04/2022 16:34

You’re describing me… and you’ve convinced me to go ahead so thanks again

Good luck! And enjoy your reappeared jawline 🥰

Teacherjw · 29/04/2022 20:59

I've had it done twice on my chin and jawline and am very pleased with the results. Just wish I could afford to get it done over my whole body 😂

I’ve had it recently on my back and love handles! I can definitely notice a difference on the back, that was four weeks ago. Love handles i had done just a couple of days ago but hoping for a similar result. I want it in other places now! Tummy and inner thighs. Don’t seem to need it in my chin at the moment. Would fully recommend. There is a bit of pain - injections but also some bee sting like pain immediately afterwards, but not enough to make you cry 😆 and very much worth it. Let us know how it goes!

liftthatup · 30/04/2022 14:45

Wow this is all great, thanks everyone! I’m getting quite excited now and it’s still ages away (10th May). Now I want a full body injectionfest 🤣

Exciting! I’ve just booked another session for my stomach, the upper back only needed one round, will see whether the love handles need any more.

Freetodowhatiwant · 11/05/2022 14:03

how did your treatment go @liftthatup? I have had two sessions now - one upper bag and the second one I went for two areas - lower back and love handles. I think I can definitely see a difference a few weeks later even after only one session per area. I am going along tomorrow to do upper and lower stomach! I am not overweight per se, a size ten and 5.5ft, but always had these stubborn pockets of fat and also my stomach is a bit saggy (attractive) since being stretched by two babies. Am hoping it will help with that. Also now tempted to get my upper arms and inner thighs done!

You’ve really got the bug! Well I trotted along yesterday all excited and nervy. When in the room the practitioner was very nice and reassuring. Told me that she thought it would be a successful procedure but to be aware that after the age of 35 (by nearly 2 decades🤣) I would be at risk of excess sagging skin on my neck. She then advised that it’s more a procedure for winter months as I would have swelling for 3/4 days. So, long story short, I’ve postponed til
after the summer!! She said it’s a v popular treatment, especially on bingo wings and love handles but that that’s easier to cover until the swelling subsides.
I’m a little deflated I must admit. Unlike my chin…

That's interesting, weirdly I was told that the treatment also has a skin tightening effect! I certainly haven't noticed any skin sagging where I have had It (late 40s so not new to skin sagging). I didn't; have swelling on the back or sides but have got a bit on my stomach, Maybe that;'s just after a rather social weekend. I am really surprised she encouraged you not to have it though!

Anyone got any results to rave about?

VinoDino · 26/10/2022 11:39

Giving this a bump as I'm considering this for my chin/s, and easier to hide in the colder months with scarfs etc! Anyone got any positive stories?

Following too! Also , it would be great to have clinic recommendations (ideally in London).

Sorry, I can give an update yes! I had it in a few areas in the end, stomach, love handles and under the boob. I am trying to work out if it worked or not. I THINK it did a bit and I feel like if I had it a couple of more times it might be more noticeable. I do feel a bit slimmer I think. I am a size ten anyway but just feel I have a bit of extra rollege I would like gone. I do think it's reduced a BIT.
